Belghat, Wednesday – Under the leadership of Station House Officer Vikas Nath, Belghat Police conducted a foot patrol in the town and surrounding crowded areas on Wednesday evening. During the patrol, the police closely monitored key areas and interacted with local citizens to hear their concerns.
The SHO, along with police personnel, inspected the security of properties in the area and checked the functioning of installed CCTV cameras. According to Vikas Nath, foot patrols allow police to observe the ground situation more effectively than mobile or vehicle-based patrolling.
The primary aim of the foot patrol was to assess potential security threats in time and take appropriate action. This initiative also helps in establishing direct contact with the public, thereby building trust and ensuring a stronger sense of safety.
The police team visited the main market of Belghat and other high-traffic zones, assuring citizens of their safety. Locals appreciated the move and called it a positive step towards improving law and order in the region.
